According to BlockBeats, on July 24, Goldman Sachs analyst James Schneider maintained a neutral rating on Intel after the release of its second-quarter results, with a target price of $150 per share.
Analysts noted that the company expects its share price to rise, driven by strong quarterly results and guidance, benefiting from better-than-expected performance in the data center and client segments, significant gross margin improvements, and positive comments on supply agreements and capital expenditures.
Goldman Sachs added that investors were already in a constructive position ahead of the quarter, thanks to the recent strong performance of server CPUs, the continued momentum of pre-packaged technologies, and signs of progress in advanced wafer fab nodes.

Huang stated that while the chip industry has a long history of cyclical booms and busts, "this time is different." Even considering the highly cyclical nature of the chip industry's history (as shown in the chart), the current boom still has room to continue. When asked if the industry is about to experience a downturn, Huang replied, "No, not in the near future. This time it's different because it's not demand-driven." Huang further explained that the current AI boom is not driven by consumer demand, which has long been the primary driver of the industry. The current AI boom is industry-driven, meaning that the core technology of computing is changing. We need to build a completely new layer of infrastructure globally. We already have energy, the internet, roads, and railways; now we need to build an intelligent layer—artificial intelligence—that is, adding another layer of infrastructure on top of these foundations. And this infrastructure relies on chips. I think our semiconductor industry may need to be five to ten times larger than it is now…the current industry size is too small. The extreme shortage of everything is not a cyclical problem, nor is it due to consumer demand; it's a fundamental, infrastructure-related factor. The U.S. Department of Commerce's assessment of the Kimi K3 states that the U.S. leads, but the report shows that the tests were not entirely equivalent.

However, the evaluation's reference value is controversial due to limitations in the testing scope. Due to hosting environment limitations, Kimi K3 only participated in some tests, and its overall network capability estimation was primarily based on 41 vulnerability exploitation benchmarks, while other models underwent more comprehensive testing. Therefore, Kimi K3's results have a larger margin of error. In the vulnerability exploitation test, Kimi K3 scored approximately 32%, higher than GLM-5.2's 24%, but lower than the average of approximately 76% for leading U.S. models. In the simulated attack chain test, Kimi K3 completed an average of 17 steps out of a 32-step attack chain, successfully breaching the network once in 10 attempts, while leading U.S. models completed an average of 28.5 steps. The report indicates that Kimi K3 possesses a certain degree of autonomous attack capability, and its security barriers did not prevent the model from developing vulnerabilities or executing attacks. However, the report also emphasizes the limited testing scope.
