Odaily Planet Daily reports that cryptocurrency exchange Gemini released its Q1 financial report, showing revenue of $50.3 million, a 42% increase from $35.3 million in the same period last year, driving its stock price up by as much as 30% in after-hours trading. The company stated that the growth was primarily driven by its services business, OTC trading, and crypto-related credit card businesses such as the Gemini Credit Card. Credit card revenue grew by approximately 300% year-over-year, approaching half of total revenue. Gemini also disclosed its prediction market business data for the first time. Since its launch last December, the business has attracted over 20,000 users to trade contracts, with a cumulative trading volume exceeding 100 million contracts, contributing approximately $400,000 in revenue. The company stated that trading volume in April further increased by 78% compared to the previous month. Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss stated that the company is gradually transforming from a cryptocurrency trading platform into a broader "market company." Previously, Gemini had obtained a CFTC derivatives clearing license, supporting its expansion into derivatives and prediction market businesses.

According to Odaily, the Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange this Friday under the ticker symbol BHYP. Previously, 21Shares' Hyperliquid ETF (THYP) launched on Tuesday, with a first-day trading volume of approximately $1.8 million. BHYP will be the first fund in the US to offer Hyperliquid staking rewards, with staking operations conducted through Bitwise Onchain Solutions, a subsidiary of Bitwise. 21Shares also stated that it plans to stake a significant portion of its HYPE holdings. Hyperliquid is currently a leading on-chain perpetual contract exchange and is gradually expanding into tokenized commodities and spot crypto trading. Its native token, HYPE, is used for platform fee payments and has consistently ranked among the top 15 crypto assets by trading volume.

Shares of Strive Inc., a Bitcoin reserve company founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, rose as much as 7% on Thursday. The company announced that its preferred stock, SATA, will pay cash dividends daily starting June 16, with a current annualized dividend yield of 13%. Strive CEO Matthew Cole stated that SATA will become the first publicly traded security in the history of the U.S. capital markets to pay cash dividends daily. Strive also disclosed that it has paid off all its debts and currently has no short-term or long-term outstanding debts, nor any pledged Bitcoins. The company also stated that it has completed the acquisition of another Bitcoin reserve company, Semler Scientific, increasing its Bitcoin holdings to over 15,000. (The Block)

According to Odaily Planet Daily, JPMorgan analysts stated that despite the overall recovery of the crypto market following the Iranian conflict, Ethereum and other altcoins continue to underperform Bitcoin. This trend, which has been in place since 2023, is unlikely to reverse in the short term unless there is a significant improvement in network activity, DeFi, and real-world applications. The report points out that Bitcoin's recovery has been stronger than Ethereum's, both in terms of spot ETF flows and institutional futures positions. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have recovered about two-thirds of their previous outflows, while spot Ethereum ETFs have only recovered about one-third. Meanwhile, CME futures data shows that institutional investors are more actively rebuilding their Bitcoin exposure, with Bitcoin futures positions nearly fully recovered, while Ethereum futures positions remain below previous levels. The company stated that the losses mainly came from non-cash items such as changes in the fair value of digital asset holdings. Despite the widening book loss, Bullish's adjusted performance improved. Adjusted revenue for Q1 was $92.8 million, higher than $62.4 million in the same period last year; adjusted net profit was $20.3 million, and adjusted EBITDA was $35.1 million, both significantly higher than the same period last year. After the financial report was released, Bullish's stock price initially fell by more than 11%, before recovering to near the previous day's closing level. In terms of business, Bullish stated that it has solidified its position as the second-largest Bitcoin options exchange, with Q1 options trading volume reaching $11.6 billion, accounting for approximately 14% of open interest.
