BlockBeats reported on August 7th that MetaMask officially launched its Agent Wallet, providing traders and developers with a self-hosted AI agent wallet. Users can connect to agent frameworks such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenClaw, allowing agents to perform on-chain operations within preset rules.

Agent Wallet supports Hyperliquid, as well as EVM chains such as Robinhood Chain and Monad. Agents can also perform ERC-7821 bulk swaps and one-off transactions without holding on-chain native tokens to pay gas; MetaMask can settle network fees from the transferred assets.

Before executing supported EVM trades, MetaMask provides trade demos, threat scanning, and MEV protection. Eligible trades that still result in losses after passing relevant security checks can receive up to $10,000 per month in trade protection.

MetaMask states that the core of Agent Wallet is to allow AI agents to execute transactions within the user-defined permission boundaries, rather than granting unlimited access to the wallet.

According to BlockBeats , on August 7th, a whale (0x9bb) that had profited from all five previous storage transactions and twice transferred approximately $7.537 million back to its spot account deposited 2.393 million USDC back into Hyperliquid last night.

Less than a minute after the funds arrived, the address began to go long on SanDisk (SNDK), accumulating 3,800.84 units within 4 minutes, with a transaction value of approximately $4.783 million and an average entry price of $1,258.5.

SNDK was currently trading at $1276.8, with the position showing a floating profit of approximately $69,600, a return of approximately 2.9%, and a liquidation price of $662.1. No public orders were placed at this time.

SanDisk hit a low of $1168.3 last night before rebounding to $1276.8, recovering about 9.3% from the low; however, it is still down about 10.5% from the previous day's benchmark price. This whale did not buy at the lowest point, but re-entered the market after the rebound had already begun.
