Liquidation Alert
In the past hour, total liquidations across the network reached $11.72 million, with $10.62 million from long positions, with $1.10 million from short positions. BTC liquidation $32.21 million, ETH liquidation $6.94 million.
BTC briefly dipped below 81,000 USDT, with its 24-hour gain narrowing to 5.03%.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, OKX market data shows that BTC briefly fell below 81,000 USDT and is currently trading at 80,955.1 USDT, with the 24-hour gain narrowing to 5.03%.
The SEC will decide on the confidentiality of crypto ETF filings and the speed of review; Grayscale, A16z, and others have differing positions from Jane Street and Charles Schwab.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has released its responses to public comment on new ETF filings, allowing funds to hold crypto assets or employ unconventional strategies. The main points of contention are whether filings should remain publicly available before the fund begins trading and how quickly the review process should proceed. Crypto asset management firm Grayscale and crypto policy organization Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) support an optional confidentiality period to reduce competitors submitting copycat documents. Charles Schwab opposes complete confidentiality and recommends releasing filings at least 75 days in advance. Grayscale requests a 45-day response from the SEC, while CCI argues that the confidentiality process should not extend automatic or review periods. Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (A16z) supports shorter review times but emphasizes that scrutiny should not be reduced; trading firm Jane Street believes that accelerating the process could lead to decreased product quality, competitiveness, and liquidity. Currently, there are 174 crypto asset-related ETFs in the U.S., with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) managing approximately $61 billion in assets, representing about 38% of total assets in related ETFs.
