HyperCore's manual borrowing feature is now available on the testnet; borrowing on the mainnet remains limited to portfolio margin.
According to BlockBeats, on August 26th, Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff Yan stated that HyperCore's manual borrowing functionality is now live on the testnet. Currently, all borrowing functionality on the mainnet is limited to the portfolio margin mode.
HyperEVM smart contracts can now access HyperCore's lending functionality through CoreWriter and read-only precompiled contracts.
Liquidation Alert
In the past hour, total liquidations across the network reached $10.84 million, with $9.79 million from long positions, with $1.05 million from short positions. BTC liquidation $3.42 million, ETH liquidation $1.12 million.
MINIMAX: First-half revenue was $117 million, a year-on-year increase of 283.1%.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that its revenue for the first half of 2026 was US$117 million, a year-on-year increase of 283.1%; the company incurred a loss of US$358 million, a year-on-year decrease of 11%; and gross profit was US$20.813 million, a year-on-year increase of 464.8%. Furthermore, revenue from AI-native products increased by 100.9% year-on-year, from US$21.2 million to US$42.6 million, primarily due to increased user engagement, stronger willingness to pay, and the continued commercialization of Conch AI and other AI-native products. Zhipu claims Ox Alpha: The new version of GLM directly supports images and videos, and will be open-sourced tonight.
According to Beating AI News, Zhipu has confirmed that Ox Alpha is a new version of the GLM series, and the model weights will be released tonight.
The community had previously pointed to Zhipu based on clues such as API errors and word segmentation, and now it has finally been confirmed.
Ox Alpha anonymously launched on OpenRouter last weekend, focusing on programming and long-running agent tasks, while supporting text, image, and video input. It quickly rose to become the most used model on OpenRouter, with usage exceeding twice that of DeepSeek. OpenRouter claims this is the largest model release in the platform's history.
Multimodal processing is another noteworthy change. Previously, Zhipu separated its main GLM and GLM-V vision models, with GLM-5 only supporting text, while images and videos were handled by models like GLM-5V-Turbo. This time, Ox Alpha has been directly confirmed as the new GLM version, capable of processing both images and videos. If the final official model no longer includes the "V," it means Zhipu is merging its two model lines.
Ox Alpha will remain free for another week; how it will be charged after that has not yet been announced.
Ansem invested $57,600 to purchase tokens from the Robinhood blockchain DeFi protocol NetNet Capital.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, transaction records show that Ansem invested $57,600 to purchase NET tokens. NetNet Capital is a DeFi protocol on the Robinhood blockchain, and its token NET represents a reserve backed by at least 1 USDG in the protocol's on-chain asset portfolio. NetNet Capital accumulates productive assets such as stablecoins and stocks through various mechanisms; when the net asset value is 1.75 times the value of the underlying treasury, NET token stakers can earn a daily yield of 1.2%. Currently, NET is trading at approximately 11 times the value of the treasury, and the treasury is growing faster than the 1.2% NET issuance. Ansem stated that the protocol's founder has given several interviews and said that he has discussed future cooperation with the Robinhood team; the founder was also previously involved in the NBA Topshot project.
