According to BlockBeats, on August 10th, Solstice Finance, the DeFi yield infrastructure protocol in the Solana ecosystem, launched strcUSX, a structured product based on Strategy (MSTR) preferred stock STRC, becoming Solana's first financial product linked to STRC.

This product does not tokenize STRC stock, nor does it represent that users hold Strategy preferred stock. Instead, it uses a yield treasury to separate STRC-related returns and price risks. After depositing Solstice's USD settlement token USX, users will receive two types of Solana tokens, each corresponding to a different risk level of return exposure.

The senior tranche token SR-strcUSX will receive priority in the returns, with a target annualized return of approximately 7%; the junior tranche token JR-strcUSX will bear the remaining returns and more price volatility risk, with a target annualized return exceeding 20%. If the value of STRC assets declines, junior tranche holders will bear the losses first.

STRC is a floating-rate perpetual preferred stock issued by Strategy, currently offering a cash dividend yield of approximately 12%, payable twice a month, though dividend payments are subject to the decision of the company's board of directors.

Solstice stated that the product aims to allow DeFi users to access the returns and risks of STRC without directly holding STRC shares, while also catering to the investment needs of different risk appetites through a tiered design.

Previously, on August 10, Strategy sold 1,690 bitcoins, raising approximately $108.6 million, which was used to repurchase approximately 1.152 million shares of STRC preferred stock. Strategy's current bitcoin holdings have decreased to 840,447.
