PANews 5月21日消息，FOX Business记者Darren Botelho援引一家威胁检测数据公司的最新估计称，伊朗政府控制着约77亿美元数字资产。美国财政部此前已冻结约5亿美元与伊朗相关的加密资产，仅上个月就冻结3.44亿美元。250 Digital Asset Management首席执行官表示，尽管加密货币常被视为逃避制裁的工具，但实际上有利于执法机构追踪。报道称，美国政府可能通过阻止加密货币交易所接入美国银行系统来加大对伊朗的压力。
