PANews 5月12日消息，据金十报道，特朗普提名的下一任美联储主席人选凯文·沃什当地时间周一在参议院跨过关键程序性障碍。鲍威尔的主席任期将于本周五结束。参议院预计将在周一所谓的“终结辩论投票”后，最快于周二表决确认沃什担任美联储理事，任期14年。随后，议员们还将启动其兼任美联储主席四年任期的确认程序，相关表决最快可能于周三进行。由共和党控制的参议院预计将批准沃什出任下一任美联储领导人。美联储下一次会议（也可能是沃什担任主席后的首次会议）定于当地时间6月16日至17日举行。
