PANews 4月15日消息，据金十报道，美国芝加哥联储主席古尔斯比周二表示，如果伊朗战争导致油价长期高企、从而拖慢通胀向美联储2%目标回落的进程，美联储可能需要等到2027年才会降息。古尔斯比在出席Semafor世界经济大会期间表示：“我原本认为2026年甚至可能会有多次降息；但如果这种情况持续下去，我们始终看不到通胀下降，而通胀维持在高位，现实地看，这就会把时间点推迟到2026年之后。我们的职责是把通胀拉回到2%。”古尔斯比曾是美联储内部较为乐观的一员，认为由关税推动的通胀今年将回落，从而使美联储能够恢复降息。但如今，他的信心已减弱。他说：“在某些情况下，利率可能会上调；在另一些情况下，这一切被证明只是暂时的——中东的油价冲击得到解决，通胀重新下降，看起来我们正朝着2%的目标回归，那么降息也同样会被重新摆上议程。”
