LNbits urges all users to immediately shut down their servers, as multiple instances have been attacked

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to Bitcoin News monitoring, LNbits has issued an emergency security alert following multiple attack incidents, urging all users to immediately shut down their servers until critical vulnerabilities are fixed. Operator @KevinR4 reported that attackers created new accounts and withdrew funds, causing a loss of 2,285,545 sats within nearly 5 hours. He pledged compensation for affected BitTipBot users but stated that related funds remain inaccessible until the vulnerability is resolved. LNbits said a security patch is expected to be released within 24 to 48 hours and urged users to forward the warning to those running LNbits instances.
