According to Odaily Planet Daily, Lido stated that its development team is investigating an anomaly caused by today's stETH yield revaluation, reported by the Protocol Accounting Oracle. This revaluation shows an annualized yield of 2.04%, compared to the expected 2.15%. This discrepancy was not caused by validator penalties; the issue stems from 32 validator-staking ETH in a pending confirmation state not being included in the oracle's statistics. Developers have repeatedly verified the total balance of all Lido validators on the Ethereum consensus layer at the time of the oracle's broadcast and since, finding no indication of asset risk. Users do not need to take any action. The team is currently investigating the root cause of the issue; once the fix is implemented, the next yield revaluation will include the under-counted assets. A full official statement will be released after the root cause is identified.
