This means that anyone can join the game by creating a Hive blockchain address, making the game license-free. It also provides Splinterlands with a transparent record of all actions in the game, including combat outcomes, ensuring fairness and transparency. Players have a basic set of cards and can purchase supplementary packs or specific cards from other players. These cards can be upgraded and used in battles with other players.
