<p>Covalent is dedicated to addressing the huge infrastructure issues that stand in the way of blockchain adoption. They provide a unified API that brings complete transparency and visibility to all blockchain network assets. Its solutions connect the database world with distributed blockchain technology. The first version was built at a hackathon in fall 2017. </p>
<p>Covalent provides a unified API to bring complete transparency and visibility to assets across all blockchain networks. In short, we have an API that allows you to extract detailed, fine-grained blockchain transaction data from multiple blockchains without code. </p>
There are many elements of Covalent that make us unique in the marketplace. However, the core difference between us and projects like Graph is this: </p>

<p> We believe in providing our users with <strong> no code </strong> solutions. This means there are no complex SQL queries, no development and maintenance of subgraphs, and no need to invest in highly skilled (and costly to read) developers to simply retrieve blockchain data, a huge waste of engineering time. One API, and you're done. </p>
