Cosmos Ecosystem
The Cosmos Ecosystem ave.change is
0.31%
Cosmos is a decentralized network of independent parallel blockchains, each built by BFT consensus algorithms like Tendermint Consensus. Cosmos is a vast decentralized network of multiple blockchains connected in a decentralized manner using the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), It can also be called Internet of Blockchains. Cosmos' vision is to make it easy for developers to build blockchains and break down barriers between blockchains by allowing them to transact (communicate) with each other. The ultimate goal is to create a blockchain network, one that can communicate with each other in a decentralized way. With Cosmos, the blockchain can remain sovereign, quickly process transactions and communicate with other blockchains in the ecosystem, making it the best choice for a variety of scenarios. Cosmos realizes this vision through a series of open source tools, such as Tendermint, Cosmos SDK and IBC, designed to allow people to quickly build custom, secure, scalable and interoperable blockchain applications. Tools and an analysis of the technical architecture of the Cosmos network follow. Tendermint is a consensus engine and BFT consensus algorithm. A state machine can be built on top of Tendermint using any programming language, and Tendermint will take care of the replication of information (consistent and secure as required by consensus). Cosmos SDK is a modular framework designed to simplify building secure blockchain applications. IBC is the communication protocol between blockchains and can be considered the TCP/IP of blockchains. It allows fast-finality blockchains to exchange value and data with each other ina decentralized manner. The core products of Cosmos are the Tendermint Consensus mechanism, the Cosmos SDK and the cross-chain IBC protocol. A project can be classified as Cosmos Ecological project if it adopts one of the three categories. So far, the Cosmos ecosystem is second only to ethereum in terms of prosperity and landing. Cosmos and Polkadot are cross-chain star projects. Cosmos, like Android system, has a low entry threshold and is open and free, which can maintain a high degree of independence and autonomy of the project and is highly extensible. Of course, the relationship between the ecological projects is relatively loose. Like The Apple system, Boca's ecological projects have high entry threshold and greater independence, but they are closely related to each other and have better security. Cosmos is biased towards interchain cross-chains (completely independent chain cross-chains) and Poca is biased towards intra-chain cross-chains (parallel chain cross-chains). Cosmos and Polkadot are two very important projects in blockchain infrastructure, both of which have made significant contributions to the industry and are two very important technology solutions that have brought and will continue to bring rich return on investment to the capital markets. Cosmos and Polkadot may play important roles in different scenarios in the foreseeable future. For example, Boca has become an ecosystem for large enterprises. Many large blockchain projects are built on the basis of Boca, and Boca guarantees the absolute security of this ecosystem. Cosmos, on the other hand, is more suited to the general enterprise startup, which maintains a high degree of autonomy and scalability (you can build your own ecosystem) while requiring low participation costs (security, development, maintenance, etc.). The landing of these application scenarios will bring a breakthrough of imagination space to these two projects.
